SPACE TIME & Co-relation with tithi (तिथि)
Generally known definition of Space-time is the arenas in which all physical events take place. Where, event is a point in space specified by its time and place. For example, the motion of planets around the Sun may be described in a particular type of space-time, or the motion of light around a rotating star may be described in another type of space time. The basic element of space time is an event. In any given space-time, an event is a unique position at a unique time. These events are observed by human beings and also used for calculating time. Similarly in vedic time the reference for measurement “tithi” was used. which was nothing but an event which occur in space, where the celestial bodies are sun and moon. Tithi as we know is nothing but a lunar day, or the time it takes for the east-west position angle between the moon and the sun to increase by 12⁰. Tithi is similar concept like space time only constrained to specific celestial body which are sun and moon. In several types of culture the space was observed for the sake of reference for measurement of time. Even today calendar which are made are based on same well calculated time under the reference of ancient observation and related formula. We must give value to all these activities of mankind.

Tithi ( तिथि ): Is a sanskrit word which is technically a reference for creating  Hindu calendars.
